The Climbing Company has been designing and building Climbing Walls since 1990.
The Climbing Company is owned and operated by Doug McCauley. After assisting founder and climbing wall pioneer Tim Wethey on many Climbing Wall design and build projects over the years, Doug took over the business in 2020. Tim continues to assist in the background to give Doug the benefit of his years of experience and knowledge of existing installations.
Doug has been working in Climbing Wall businesses for 15 years. As well as his design and building work with Tim Wethey, he has managed climbing gyms, set routes for national competitions, and coached elite climbing teams. He is pragmatic and thinks outside the box to solve on-site challenges to create for you a climbing facility that works for you.
